Bombil Masala


Introduction:
Bombil masala or Dry Bombay Duck Fish is one of the quick fix for non vegetarians. This is a type of fish that you can store in you time for months and just take it and cook in a jiffy. Super quick and easy one.

Ingredients:
5 pieces of Bombil
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 cup diced Onion
1/4 cup chopped Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp grated Garlic
1/2 tsp Goda Masala
2 tsp Vinegar



Method
Take bombil and peel out its wings.
Then cut bombil in to about 2" pieces.
Wash all cut bombil pieces in cold water very well.
Mix vinegar and water and soak bombil in vinegar water for 10 mts.
Now heat oil and add onion.
Saute onions till that gets good browning around its edges.
Add garlic, mix and cook for about a minute.
Add chilli powder, goda masala, mix and cook for 2 mts.
Add soaked bombil pieces, add salt and mix.
Cover and cook for 5 to 8 mts or until bombil turns tender.
Garnish with loads of coriander leaves!
Serve hot with chapati or rice!
